Edge fitness what can i say.... well we went here a year ago before it was even built to find out information and to see what the gym had to offer but at that time we didnt sign up because by looking at pictures we couldnt decide if we wanted to join. So we waited until they finally opened up to do a 3 day trial. But honestly a 3 day trial is nothing they should offer a month free to try it out so u have enough time to try out not only the equipment but the classes as well. we tried 3 days it wasnt enough to decide on commit... read more

I like it the window shopping of the woman there they keep you coming back and motivated to work out
I'm Impressed. Movie theater with treadmills. Awesome Spinning Room Sprint track (for you runners out there) clean and modern restrooms (even joked that it was like being in a 5 star hotel) plenty of weight machines,racks,benches etc. ultra modern treadmills,ellipticals,steppers etc. (you can even log onto FB, Instagram & charge your phone during use - Amazing.) It was pretty crowded during both visits but it was manageable - I've seen worse. Edge is a nice addition to Somerton. Somerton deserves a gym like this. ... read more

Just joined the new Edge Fitness on Bustleton and County Line. It's brand new so it's super clean, shiny and huge! I worked with Alexis -she was great. Got me set up and in the system and ready to work out with no "used car salesman" pitch. She is very knowledgeable and knows her stuff - gave me a good deal that meets my needs. I love the "Edge Theater" which has workout equipment in a movie theater so you can watch a film while you sweat. The locker rooms are clean and very nice. I wouldn't recommend it because they give you a discounted price at the beginning, but after a year, the price increases significantly, to around 20 per month, and you can't even use a QR code to access the women's area upstairs.

We do offer both installment plans for 12 or 24 months, as well as open ended options. Once your initial term has expired, you are able to renew for a new term in order to retain the lower rate. They are scammers. After a couple of months, they changed the contract and raised the price. Now they're demanding an extra $300 just to close the deal. Stay away from them.

On June 25th, 2025 at 9:40PM, a blonde lady was working at the front desk. I have my mom's account which usually allows a guest to come with her; however, my mother has been away for a while so I decided to just use her account to gym for the night. This lady at the front desk, with the most nasty attitude ever, confronted me and said I couldn't use my mom's account. Im not reviewing this specific Edge Club in NE Philly, instead Im reviewing Edge fitness as a whole. This place is absolutely terrible. They have ridiculous contracts, connected directly to the users bank account. The gyms are entirely too crowded. The staff might be the most miserable people I've ever seen in my life. Never once, was I greeted by a friendly person in 3 years at these gyms. Don't let the 15$/month price point deceive you because it's not worth it.
