An employee was extremely rude to me, refused to give me the information I was requesting - I wanted to know why I couldn't cancel my account. This employee kept telling me, in an antagonistic way, that they didn't know why I couldn't cancel it. Worse, I asked them why they were "yelling" at me, and I was told it was because I was yelling, first (as if I'm NOT supposed to be upset that an employee claimed they didn't know anything and refused to help me. Absolutely terrible. BE WARE when you sign a contract. The sales rep DOES NOT tell you that after you sign a 2 year contract that you are still billed after that...AND $5 More then what you were already paying. I called to cancel and the guy said to email and cancel. Did that and now they REFUSE to cancel. My 2 year contract for my daughter is DONE!!! I will never work out at Edge again. I joined and signed a two year contract. I am very busy so I purchased the basic membership for $25.00 a month. I've belonged to gym's for many years without signing any contracts and simply had the charge put on my credit card monthly. If I wanted to cancel the membership I would simply let them know and they stop billing. I do not recommend this gym Terrible management Horrible management I was in auto pay with a debit card Once they star charching more monthly because my contract ends ( and I went to talk to the manager of the gym , he was so rude And told me he can no cancel my account) no even try to help . Joining this gym was a huge mistake. I gave them my checking account and debit card numbers because I had to to join. They entered my checking account information incorrectly and charged me two subsequent incorrect late fees, one in January and one early this month. Then on top of that, they duplicated the monthly payment+annual fee+the late fee charge in the amount of over $100. The week of the 8th I gave the gym my correct checking account info and Joe the manager assured me I would get the two incorrect late fees reversed... read more
This franchise is the worst. Bad maintained gym and rude staff. Most unresponsive and unprofessional employees that I've ever seen. The staff need to get themselves educated in customer management and friendly service. And so does the manager, Nathan Miller. It is harder to get out of that GYM MEMBERSHIP THAN TO GET A DIVORCE. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!! When things happen in your life their management deceives you and just keep taking out your money!

I went in to cancel my membership do to my being uncomfortable working out in the midst of a pandemic, told I couldn't cancel but could freeze for 90 days. Ok, no problem. I like the Edge Strong classes and most of the Edge Strong class instructors. However, I am cancelling them because of financial reasons. Also, I am not pleased with how my personal training sessions went; my trainer was at times rude and you never get sent email reminders of when the sessions are (Crunch Fitness does this). I like the movie theater and the Arc Trainer machine. Okay gym when I visited a few times as a guest with others who have passes. I like the fact that they have a woman's only section and the movie theater where you can use treadmills and bikes while you watch the movie they are playing for the day/time. But when it comes to the type of people Edge brings in, for a beginner like me I would prefer to be around other beginners with all types of bodies, but Edge is mostly hard bodies/lifters and makes me feel uncomfortable.
