Im not reviewing this specific Edge Club in NE Philly, instead Im reviewing Edge fitness as a whole. This place is absolutely terrible. They have ridiculous contracts, connected directly to the users bank account. The gyms are entirely too crowded. The staff might be the most miserable people I've ever seen in my life. Never once, was I greeted by a friendly person in 3 years at these gyms. Don't let the 15$/month price point deceive you because it's not worth it. This is my first experience with Edge. There is a major issue with both the type and loudness of the music played--it is ear busting and interferes with workouts. The music blasts on the outside of the club--I do not know how they get away with this. It is the same in the facility itself. There are many complaints about the music but management does not seem to care. It is damaging my hearing which is inexcusable and easily fixed if the volume would just be turned down. machines are constantly broken. I've been asking for 2 years to have them fixed. the managers keep changing and the problems stay the same!

If you wanna workout don't come here. You'll be waiting for machines more than working out. This place became a day care with the amount of kids that come and play around.

The quantity and quality of classes vary from place to place. If you go here for the classes, I would not recommend this place. And the shower room here is inconvenient because there is no place to put a change of clothes.

I was really excited when I first joined Edge, but lately machines have been broken for over a month, and it seems that more brake down on a regular basis

Honest review: Gym looks great & has decent equipment. Service is always solid. However, it STINKS & always smells like crap. Is this place not being cleaned well enough? The bathrooms are the worse. I'm not a germaphobe, but this is not sanitary. The air circulation is terrible too. So gross.

offs... This is EDGE FITNESS.I signed up for a yearly membership paid all my dues. The membership ended in May and then they charged my credit card a new yearly fee of 4999 and since I wasn't a member any longer they charge me 1999 instead of 1499 a month if I am no longer a member why charge me 1999 a month l'm no longer a member I shouldn't be charged anything, and if they're saying I was no longer a member why you charge me 1999 if you already took the 4999 out of my account to make me a member I wasn't a member so if you... read more
