When we interviewed The Landing, it was told to us that there would be meals in the dining room, activities in 3 different rooms, parties, happy hour, bingo, etc. and none of that happened. They bring 2 meals a day to the room and have cancelled all activities due to covid, so there is no activities at all. The sliding door has needed to be fixed for a while and we called about it and it has still not been fixed. Staff was pleasant and outgoing. Community is across the street from a park, which is nice. But, no crosswalk or sidewalk to get there safely. Property had no sidewalk only unlevel asphalt in parking lot. Community was dim and dreary. Pictures on website were quite misleading. Definitely not what I toured. We toured this community for care. The community needs a lot of major improvements inside and out of the community The odor was something that we did not like. The staff was caring and polite We did not see a menu at this time. We know that there has been some time since we have taken this tour. Families might want to check this community for a tour of a community for a loved one

This is not an assisted facility, just apartment for seniors. there is no care per se' Hoerver paramedics live on site for emergencies. The facility is under renovation, but still not what we're looking for. Rooms are extremely small, not enough activities, but they're working on that. Rent is very low, but meals cost extra.
Beware! Linda acts like a great person caring for your family but...They actually will wash the bibs, and other items used for your families with dirty poop filled clothes that should be washed seperately! They will allow men to help the women in the bathroom instead of women. They force the family member to play ball or whatever they want them to do. Sample apt. looked nice but very short on space. In fact, they lied to me re. the square footage. it was 200 sq. ft. LESS than what they told me !!!!
