The Lion and Rose Pub had good food, great service, and we will definitely return. I recommend trying the cottage pie.
We come here for trivia every Wednesday. We love it here. Always come before to get happy hour drinks and fries.
This place was awesome. The staff pitched in to wait on 15 of us. Food and drinks arrived in a timely manner. Food was excellent drinks very good. We all had a good time because staff allowed us to socialize while they kept us hydrated and feed. We all had a great time. Thank you staff at The Lion & Rose.
Nice restaurant. Good wait staff. The fish and chips were just right! We'll go back to try some other menu items.
They offered a nice Veteran's Day discount in 2025, so my wife and I decided to give it a try. They have an extensive draft beer selection, and the Pinthouse Electric Jellyfish is my favorite Texas IPA. It's always better on draft, and this time was no different, especially in the 22-ounce offering. We had the Reuben sandwich and Chicken Curry dish, both of which were outstanding. Everything was so good, including the relaxed ambiance, that we plan to return more often. I highly recommend this place.
Came here for trivia as the Shockerz. Food was great. Had a Reuben and chips. Great selection of beer.
We have always enjoyed eating at The Lion & Rose. Their move to I-10 location ment a significantly longer drive so, we don't go as often as we once did.
I had a schnitzel for lunch, the portion was good for the price. It wasn't cheap but nothing is these days! I like that it was crispy and had vegetables included besides the mashed potatoes. I'd come back and try other dishes. We have also been there for happy hour and it was fabulous. We love to come here to watch the football games. Their bar is awesome and the TVs are great. The bartender Jason always knows what we want to drink when we walk in. The manager is always accommodating and the food is good! Highly recommended
