As someone who used to love the old Lion Rose back in the day, this new version is not the same at all. Overpriced, underwhelming food, drinks are expensive too. The portion sizes are RIDICULOUSLY small for the exorbitant price tag. And the place does not have a British pub vibe at all. Service was okay, but not above or beyond or anything. It was just meh overall, but the experience was made worse for me since I remember what the old pub used to be like.

They decided to go CHEAP and o longer serve the waffle chips instead a they serve "Steak Fries" with the Guinness dip .. huge disappointment.. I can get steak fries at Costco

Went there on February 19. The good news is the food seems to be as good as it used to be at their previous locations. The service was spotty but I expect part of that is due to the pub being newly opened. The reason for the 1 star rating is that this place is an unbelievably poor value for the money. When I looked at the drink menu I noticed that there were prices for wine and cocktails but not beer. There is a reason for that. We stopped in to check out this place and were extremely disappointed with the cost of the drinks and the food. We paid $19 for a cosmopolitan and $15 for an old-fashioned. We ordered the wings and paid $14 for seven wings that were a little salty. The service was good and the place is nice, but the cost is too much.

Waited over 30 minutes for a bottle of miller lite. Clearly not ready to open. The staff was clueless, almost like no one has ever worked in a restaurant before. They have a lot to work out.
