Great fish and chips. A bunch of spurs fans there watching the game for that Wnglish pub experience.
Went to have drinks. Did not try food. Staff was nice. Bar area is decent. Nice to watch a game. The beer was cold and good. If I lived nearby I would probably hang out there. Cool spot.
We love the folks at Lion and the Rose and trivia night is the best!! The food is amazing and we love coming here!
Great time playing trivia with SA.Brainbrew! Love the fish and chips and cottage pie!
Trivia night. Good food. Good beverages. Good service. The ambiance is a high end pub. Clean restaurant. Next time I visit San Antonio I'll be back.
Me and the wife are regulars here and have been the more times than we can count. We have NEVER had a bad meal or bad service. The waitresses are always attentive and the manager always checks on us to see how things went. Lion and Rose is a wonderful establishment and we are lucky to have them in our community.
The service and food are always amazing. Love coming here every Wednesday for trivia. The vibes are chill never a bad time.
Great fish and chips and love the Jameson chicken sandwich! Weekly trivia with @SA.BrainBrew is a blast!

Now the food--this is where they really shine. The fish and chips are hands down the closest thing to authentic British fare I've had stateside... read more
