Like most residents' families, we are having a difficult time with the COVID restrictions which leave us unable to visit the facility and interest with our loved ones. Prior to the lockdown, I was fortunate enough to have been able to spend quite a bit of time at Poets Walk and was able to become familiar with a lot of the staff. Super enthusiastic administrator! The monthly cost was a sticker shock situation but if I had expected it, I would not of been as shocked. Many activities and super clean and friendly.

My husband was the first female president when poets walk open [date removed]. He has a favorite, but all residents are treated with respect and affection. The caregivers all very compassionate, they all are attentive to any changes in residence health or demeanor. The food is healthy – the activities keep them engaged. The management bends over backwards to accommodate concerns of family members. This is a clean facility.

Much improved over the last year. The new chef has prepared a variety of delicious meals. Still having some communication problems among the staff, but seem to be getting better once management addresses the issues presented by family of resident.

This place is absolutely excellent. It’s so attractively decorated and impeccably clean. It’s a large building and just an overall attractive property. My sister’s room is quite large and the bathroom is wonderful with a huge shower. They have a few activities and every Wednesday they have some sort of musical entertainment. Every Friday they’ll go out on some sort of activity. There are plenty of staff members and they’re just right on the ball. It is expensive, but it’s worth it. I highly recommend this place.

I toured Poet’s Walk while looking for living options for my father. We did not choose to move in here because it was further away and more expensive than we were willing to do, however, it was at the top of my list. I absolutely loved the community. It is gorgeous. It opened just a few months ago, so it’s brand new with only about 20-30 residents right now. However, the staff and the manger were excellent!
