I think it is a good value and i get exactly what i am paying for. It is very beautiful here and i am happy.
I like that I have my own kitchen. My unit has two bedrooms and two baths. It has been updated and has new hardwood floors and granite counter tops. It has a balcony and a fireplace and lots of storage. Lots of areas to walk. Security 24/7. They have a nice handbook for residents. Garbage is picked up at your door twice a week. Everyone is very friendly.
Great privacy as we have a hallway with four apartments that is a good Breezeway. There are places for plants tables and chairs. I enjoy wonderful walkways with many trees and Gardens
Wrote a review, but it seems to have no posted: Can’t wait to move there (awaiting sale of house. Have visited there at least [removed] impressed with management, the food and service was superior. Have visited several ‘senior living places’ and it is rated superior ; far superior to others we have visited—-we rate it 6-stars. Praying that it will become our final PLACE. Everything far exceeds any others we have visited. Pray that it becomes our final [removed] exceeds all expectations needed in final years!!!
Loved the look and feel of the Preston place. Gated and spacious. If you need less full service and more of an apt feel, this is the place. For my parents with large furniture the living room are looked small with the fireplace in the 2/2. But there are larger floorplans available.
Very friendly staff amd residents were active--havin a tea party when I did my tour. I had 2 main concerns. 1st the property used to be an apartment complex so the community area was a separate building and residents have to walk outside in heat/rain for events/activities. Only 1 continental breakfast included, lunch is $10 and added to your monthly rent, dinner must be ordered in advance and delivered to your unit. Nice, well maintained, friendly staff and residents. Lovely landscaping and mature trees. However, a bit spread out. Lack of covered walkways to get around the property for meals or activities could be an issue when the weather leans to either extreme. But mom loves the plentiful closets in the floor plan she liked best.
Feels more like home rather than “a home.” The staff and people we spoke with were all very friendly. The apartments are very nice and exceptionally well cared for for their age. Haven’t decided yet if I’m pleased or displeased with the “pay per meal” system they have... but I think it might be a pro rather than a con.
