The impression we got from Preston Place is that it is a well established stable community. Landscaped with very mature trees it gives the impression of living in a forest with lots of nature. Of the 4 places we toured in the last two days, in the one bedroom model, it appeared to have the most spacious LAYOUT, and definitely had the most storage/closet space, including storage out on the patio. The unit we are currently planning on moving on had recently upgraded the kitchen to cherry cabinets and beautiful granite countert... read more

My mother and I looked here two years ago. It is lovely and she really liked it except that the walk to go anywhere was not covered and she would need to walk too far to go to the main area.

Excellent staff - which breeds high overhead which, of course, is passed to renters. Thus 81% occupancy. I will be moving to an "age in place" apartment. I'm soon to be priced out of the "retirement community" market. I' pay $[fee removed] monthly which includes no meals other than complimentary very limited breakfast.

This place stinks! Pay for the every thing you want to do plus walk outdoors during inclement weather to get a meal or enjoy the company of other residents. I would rather be back in prison in than live here! This was the worst mistake I ever made. I'm surprised that you didn't charge me for every time I flushed the toilet. Are you aware that by calling this a senior living facility, you are held to a higher standard. Can't wait for my lease to be finished!!

My experience at Presto Place was marginal at best. It's clean and the food is good. My biggest problem with them was the dosing of my medication. I have a seizure medication that's critical that I take when I'm going to sleep. They started trying to dose it just after dinner. If it's an 8 hour medication. That's dosed at 6. It wears off in the middle of the night. Seizures were constant. Oh also at Prestonwood ... their activity people had no prior experience in aging and adult service Since my mother retired working in the... read more
