Christmas lunch booked for six. The Spiritualist was locked up and in darkness. Extremely disappointing that no one bothered to contact me regarding the cancellation/failure to function . Even got a message the day before to confirm the booking. What absolute nonsense
Only complaint was that our table wasn’t ready when we arrived.
Nice cocktails. The waiters really know the drinks which is helpful. Substantial cocktail list to pick from. Lovely decor and ambiance. Quite pricey but nice for a treat. Didn't have food but looked nice. Popular place so had to reserve in advance.
Came in for cocktails with family visiting from out of town. The decor and ambience is great. The cocktails taste fantastic and priced appropriately for the quality. Service can be slow at time but wasn't a problem. (food only marked down as we didn't eat here but couldn't submit a review wihtout grading food)
Service was slow and we only had drinks this time but had an automatic service charge on the bill. It should be every individual persons choice whether they wish to pay a Service charge depending on the service etc. Disappointing that we had to pay it despite the service not being up to scratch!!! Cocktails are good though 😊
Been for drinks before, this was the first time for food and drinks. Had a selection of starters all very good. Friday night at 6:30 was quiet but still took a while at times to get drinks even though place was quiet. Overall though enjoyable experience. Table next to us, had burgers and they looked great.
Loved the haggis bhaji & baked cheese. The chicken burger was lovely and the skinny fries very tasty. It’s a nice place to eat with very cool cocktails.
Lovely food and a nice relaxed visit, highly recommended
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother for them. Service was quick and efficient.
