We were refused the Restaurant Week menu despite having booked online — nowhere was it stated that you had to request it in advance. The table right next to us, who were in the same situation, were given the menu, but we were still denied it (they were adults, we are a group of young women). Service was slow, food arrived lukewarm even though it took over an hour, and to top it off, a £15 service charge was added automatically.
We went for the pub quiz on a Thursday. We had used the comments box on the booking form to say this. We also requested a table next to our friends as the previous week we had been at a table in the bottom half of the pub and couldn't interact with other quiz members that well. When we got there we had the same table as the previous week. We noticed there were loads of tables free, so after the first round or two we asked if we could move. we had an awful experience, we were so excited to come here for new year’s eve and bring in the bells. staff was incredibly rude, we got thrown out because someone told the bouncer on the door my partner was sick which he wasn’t he barely had anything to drink then when questioning the bouncer if he had proof he said he didn’t need proof. Seemed like some sort of power trip, he was also incredibly rude to us all. we won’t be back
The cocktails I found were not as spectacular as before and not such a big choice they’ve been more categorised and are very much the same but slightly different bring back the old favourites please.

Would have been better experience if server came over to table to ask what we would like and explained on food that if they were serving or not. Left after 1 drink to get food and drinks elsewhere. Drinks and ambience good though

We booked online (on their website) two hours before. We arrived, paid for parking nearby (£5) only to go in and be told the kitchen was closed. We were meeting a friend who was visiting Aberdeen and it completely ruined the plans we had made - pretty annoying.

Booked here online for food after driving 4 hours to Aberdeen. Looking forward to Prosecco and charcuterie. Arrive to be told the kitchen doesn’t open Monday to Wednesday. No apology, excuse about the website being inaccurate. Did offer to try and get us a table at place over the road. Stayed for 1 drink, place was empty probably due to no food. Thankfully got table elsewhere as walkin. Put us right off the place and didn’t go back the whole trip. Shame as could have been avoided by accurate information online
