I've since stopped coming here. Last time I went, I waited over 30 minutes with no one coming in the exam room. I walked out to the lobby and two vet techs were out there talking and laughing. I never returned.

This new location has gone downhill... I've never had any problems with the Woodlake location, their staff was fine. Honestly, I would not bring my pet here for anything other than routine things such as vaccines/flea meds. I brought my dog in for a full senior panel (blood/urinalysis) and waited over 2 weeks with no call back about the results. *****heartworm treatment read***** The place is a decent clinic for shots and basic checkups. My gripe with them is their so casual recommendations for treatments that pose a risk to your pet without educating you. Let me get into detail. Our dog we brought here had a previous case of heartworms from another owner. We had no clue the severity of the worms. They can range from little, mild to a lot. We arrived 3 minutes late to our appointment even though they told us we had a 5 minute grace period and Thrive ended up cancelling the appointment. The woman at the front desk (blonde braided extensions) was extremely rude. If you're going to open until 6 then why leave at 5:20? We will not be returning to any Thrive location.
Thrive is a decent vet. It's well priced and usually open for appointments. But the vets I've encountered aren't really cat people. The vet literally told me she wasn't a fan of cats. Odd to become a vet and not like all creatures but ok... I had taken my cat here for years and when she suddenly got sick I took her right in. This clinic misdiagnosed my dog. Anti inflammatory prescription? He had bone cancer and had to be euthanized! Go elsewhere!!!!

I heard about this vet because my coworker stated it was an affordable vet clinic. As we had moved recently to Houston, we came to the vet early, to ensure we had enough time for paperwork and we thought " maybe if we get there early, we'll be seen early".so we got there about 15 mins prior to our appointment as our appointment was at 1030AM. I have been to this Vet Service and Location for two years and I have never had a bad experience. This time was different and I can see from the reviews that this place is not the place it once was. The front desk manager, Allison, was completely unprofessional and should not be working with the public. The way she spoke to me was completely uncalled for.
