I came here as a walk in and was greeted by a nice receptionist she informed me I would have to wait about 15 min because the doctor was at lunch but he walked in like a minute later so I was seen right away. They did an exam (although I wish the exam would've been a little more thorough) and administered vaccines for my Baylor. He's a little weird about getting his rectal temp taken and the bordatella in his nose but they handled him pretty well and the doc was really friendly. Great service! The place is really clean and great upkeep!! They just opened and so availability is great. Everyone me and my pet have encountered aren't just extremely nice, but also so helpful!!! As a first time dog owner, Thrive has been great for any and all concerns I have. Definitely will keep coming back!

Came here for a same day appointment. They are new and opened in August, so everything here is new and doesn't smell like a vet clinic!! The vet is no nonsense, and I like it. He's to the point. The vet techs are warmer and are a good balance. I will be back! I highly recommend them. My visit totaled to $66.50...so in comparison to other vets I saved at least $200!

This is a great clinic. It's incredibly clean, comfortable, and nice. The décor is adorable: modern and fun. They had a few hiccups when they first opened (some people didn't like the vet's bedside manner) but it seems to be running really well. They allow you to take your pet's prescription with you, which is a non negotiable for me. It's also very affordable; I switched from Corner Vet when they raised their prices recently.

I came to Thrive Affordable Vet Care for a dog spay. My intent was to get her spayed at a reasonable price and return to my original vet. But the staff and doctor were so kind, professional, and welcoming that we are now customer and patients for life. My dog is recovering well and despite all the hearsay, hasn't lost her spunk!

Absolutely love the staff at this location! Super friendly and personable. Since they just opened, the scheduling is super flexible. I would definitely recommend taking your pet here before they get over booked. The costs are really good for the level of care they give. I have a rescue dog who must have been beaten by her previous owners and neglected, and they take every step to work with her, as she is extremely unsure of new people. I questioned a policy. Wasn't rude, loud, didn't curse. Just questioned a policy. The energy was off when I got there. Not sure if it was because I was Black or that I questioned a policy, considering the staff, I know had I not been Black they would not have treated me this way. I'm certain of it. The vet was condescending and refused to serve me as I had an appointment. Terrible experience back in February. Our dog was whimpering and shaking on a Friday morning. His chest was tight because his back was hurting. Our vet didn't have any availability that day, so I told my husband to take him to Thrive. There is a Thrive nearby in Heights but they had no availability so our dog was taken to this one on Fountainview. It's tough going to a vet clinic and seeing dogs in pain. The staff and the doctor at this office are rude and unprofessional. The vet doesn't even seem to like animals. Not to mention that they want to charge you as much as possible for everything. Safe to say I will NOT be bringing my dog back her.
