I needed shots quick for my healthy indoor only cat. I got an appointment the next day. They were good to her. The vet talked to us about the situation. We ended up leaving with the exam, shots, printed record, and sedative for a long car ride for her all for $46. all with them all being as nice as possible to my petrified cat.

I made a last min appointment for my French bulldog due to him being a little runny this morning and a possible skin rash. I was able to make an appointment for an hour later which was great! I was seen immediately when I came in. The staff at the front were very nice and great with assisting me as this is my first time visit. It's not bad, but that's the best I have to say about our visit. The veterinarian was friendly and knew what he was talking about, but he just didn't seem as genuine or thorough as our family veterinarian. He said he wasn't concerned about my dog's skin condition, but still prescribed us a $40 antibiotic that I felt I'd be a bad owner if I didn't take home. I'd been to Thrive in Austin before, but this was my first time at a Houston location. My adult dog was suddenly having problems licking at her glands, which were super swollen and inflamed. Called an emergency vet and they said it'd be at least $1,000 just to check her out, which we just couldn't afford. This was my first time going. Upon arrival, they pulled up my appointment and took us to a room as we waited for a vet. The rooms just have a bench, sink, and table for the animal. ...and waited ...and waited... About fifteen minutes later someone came in and apologized for the wait then left. Ten more minutes went by and someone came in, asked general questions about services wanted and said the vet would see us soon. This place is great! The vet and tech were both so sweet and knowledge. The prices are so reasonable. Mention the Yelp check in and you get the $15 exam fee waived.
