Firsrt crew arrived as scheduled, foreman proceeded to direct crew to pretty much chop down the tree instead of simply trim back branches off limbs. Managed to stop them from completely destroying it and their 'expert', Joe was more interested in CYA than resolving the issue and was utterly worthless. They left the job unfinished due to some problems and made no attempt to find a solution to complete the job. Then they asked for full payment and after I informed them on the situation no further contact was made except to send me an invoice with a price that I don't agree with. I have written a letter and will be mailing it to them today or tomorrow.
Was told by Daniel, who gave me the est, that instead of sending a 3 man crew, he'd send a "specialist" who would cut and treat the cactus so it would not die and having someone who will do it the right way and not just cut it to pieces. This was the determining factor for choosing this co., What did I get? A 3 man crew, who obviously did not have a clue to what Danial told me, and basically cut the cactus down and that was it. I am in the process of trying to get them to get me a different queen palm. The queen palm they put in bends at the top. I thought perhaps over time the sun would draw it straight, but after talking with Moom Valley Nursery they said it probably will not. Moon Valley has offered Tree Pros a new tree, but Tree Pros is telling me it will straighten. So I asked for a guarantee, I would give it a year and if it has not straighten they will replace. I was told that the price I was quoted included removing stump. The stump was not removed because it was not possible but I found out after the service was completed it could not be removed. However, I still had to pay the same price. They were in and out quickly and left no mess.
He said it was two crews, one day, but when I called to select him, then it became two crews, over 2 or 3 days....unsatisfactory. I also asked for two ficus tree stumps and roots to be remoed...the stumps were, roots remained. On the palm trees, the cut and remove crew was fine, but for removing the stump a grinder was used, and it wasn't down 12 inches below service as agreed. The grinder went down maybe six inches, so the root ball is still in the ground - now my problem. Never saw the owner
