My wife and I stayed two nights. The room was inexpensive and clean. The walls, however, were paper-thin, and we were next to a noisy, inconsiderate family who could easily be heard late at night and early in the morning. In addition, there was banging all day and night--not sure what the source was--from within the hotel, and there was additional noise from the floor above us, where people seemed to be moving around furniture late at night.

The restaurants were great and the resort has fun shops. The room wasn’t the cleanest… The casino area had new games and hotel/casino staff were all friendly:)

the long lines to get on the elevator made the stay almost miserable! we were waiting 10 minutes for an elevator door to open only for it to be to full and not be able to get on. it was insane and i’ve never experienced that in my life nor do i want to again.

Tropicana is in a great location as its pretty central to most other places on the boardwalk. I love that there are multiple places to dine at the hotel as well as other things to do onsite. The room was ok but apparently not cleaned thoroughly as there was a tshirt from a prior guest left in the bathroom area. Staff was not pleasant at check in but better at check out. The pool hours are pretty crazy as well 10am-6pm is unacceptable during summer hours as people are trying to enjoy this summer activity and especially since ... read more
