We are not happy with the way things have been handled during or repairs! I’m was sent this survey and my job is still not completed or even been scheduled to be completed!
Universal Builders solicited me to repair my roof. They did an effective job of working with my insurance company to get the proposal approved. They worked with me to accommodate my schedule so that I would be off work when they started. However, I had problems with the crew replacing the shingles. It was very windy that day, and the crew would not keep my landscaping covered with tarps to protect them. Universal Builders DID NOT follow any of my instructions or requets regarding notifying me ahead of time when workers would arrive. I have a special needs dog and asked that they would let me know the day before they arrived to work on the roof so we could medicate her. At 6 am in the morning there were workers on my roof, no shingles had been delivered the day before. Highly unlikely to recommend you. Communication has been terrible. We have routinely had to "pull" information and updates from you. The job still isn't finished but I've received an email asking for payment.
I'm not. I give it a 1 because it is an out of town company, and I feel like they came to this area because we all had hail damage to our roofs and our insurance company was taking care of us. I feel that once they are done with this work they are gone and I would have a hard time getting them to come back if there is a problem. They did a good job, but I would recommend someone locally to someone else to get the job done.
Where do I begin. Universal builders was to replace our roof and gutter covers caused by damage due to a hail storm. In the process of removing/installing the new shingles, they damaged the aluminum siding trim. Pictures of the damage were provided to our sales rep. He also came out to our property to get more pictures. More than 2 months has passed and still no resolution.
