+2 Parts+ SERIOUSLY. Maybe writing an official review will actually get something done about this place. Let me start off by saying that Mary, JR, and the other members of the cleaning crew here are SPOT on. They work their butts off trying to make sure everything we need is done and done to it's best ability. That's about where it ends on the "liveable scale. If you are looking for two bedrooms apt. Premium double is decent. Premium double is bigger than tiny standard double. I recommend move in with your friends instead of getting random assigned roommates. I had weird roomate situation. It is a dorm style so it can be loud and noisy. Compared to other pats this place is very expensive

I really wish I'd checked these reviews before signing the lease for University Plaza. This has been the worst experience ever. Roommates can smoke weed, give their keys to other people who are not on the lease and be very threatening. The staff is no help. They patronize you when you report problems with your roommates, and take sides. The incidents are adding up after just two months of occupancy. The building manager claims to be mediating, and documenting, but nothing has been done. The situations are escalating and it's... read more

RUN! JUST RUN! Boy oh boy, if I could have anybody looking for somewhere to live in Dekalb any advice, it would be live in your car over University Plaza. The entry way is as extravagant as it is for a reason, to trick you. The stuff is horribly rude and mean, and hates their jobs. God forbid something it wrong, you will be made to feel like everything is your fault. You'll NEVER get an apology, rather excuses. I lived in University Plaza my sophomore year and let's just say I am glad to be out. Firs of all, when you sign up they make you sign a contract rather than a lease. As a pre-law student, I should have noticed something fishy at that point. Living there was very uncomfortable and I expected much more for the price. 1. The staff is very rude and suspicious of everything you do. You always have to explain yourself and make you feel like you are doing something wrong.
