I ultimately was able to have something shipped using uShip, and I was quite happy with the hauler, but I had a very unsatisfactory initial experience with uShip. I decided to buy an eBay item some distance away based on uShip's estimated shipping cost. It gave a range of about $300 to $700, with ~$550 being most common. Better than expected. Driver was extremely transparent. Called to let me know he picked up the bike. Stated previous flaws the bike had. Called to let me know he was close. We over the bike with me showing the flaws it had previously. Stayed to talk with me for a few minutes. Great experience.
