The care changes once you agree to the treatment plan. Over 4 hour delay to antibiotic administration. More expensive than human care. Don't waste your time or money.

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about your experience. Providing the best care to our patients is our top priority, and we understand your frustration with the delay in antibiotic administration. Our Hospital Director is planning to follow up with you on Friday to discuss the situation further and address your concerns directly. We value your input as it helps us improve our services. We hope to resolve this matter to your satisfaction.

I quite literally cannot express how horrible my family’s experience was with this hospital and the majority of the staff we had the true misfortune of dealing with during one of the most traumatic events of our lives. This is the first and only negative review I have ever left for a business, and I am doing so to encourage pet owners to exhaust any and all other options available to them before resorting to the use of this facility. My senior dog, Bronte, was sent here by her primary care provider the evening of 11/29/2024... read more

Business response:

Olivia, we want to sincerely thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are deeply sorry to hear about the distressing circumstances surrounding Bronte's care. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we want you to know that we take it seriously. We are truly sorry for the pain and frustration you and your family endured during such a difficult time. It is alarming to hear about the lack of communication and attention to detail that you received, and completely understand how disappointing this m... read more

My sister watched a cat get hit by a car and took this poor, hurting and bleeding cat to get help. Not only would they not help - after my sister offered to pay for service, meds, etc, she even offered to claim ownership- they were completely RUDE and COMPASSIONLESS about the entire situation. Did not try to help in the slightest. I thought this was an emergency vet? Was that not an emergency? Or do you only care about certain animals. Shame on you.

Business response:

We truly value your feedback and understand your concerns regarding the situation your sister encountered. I want to clarify that our team is legally required to have authorization from animal control to provide care or euthanasia services in the City of Wichita. Our staff was attempting to communicate this and could have reached out to Animal Control or 911 for assistance. Unfortunately, we were unable to do so before she left. Please know that the cost of service was not a factor; we would have been more than willing to ... read more

Utterly lacking in compassion for animals and the humans who care for them. Brought in a stray kitten in distress and they turned me away, even though I said I would pay to have it treated. It died on the way to the shelter. Shame on you.

Business response:

Derek - We are sorry to hear about the kitten. Unfortunately, we are legally not able to treat stray pets in the City of Wichita as we do not have permission to do so from them. A finder cannot claim ownership of a stray pet and authorize treatment or euthanasia since it is not their pet. We appreciate your efforts in trying to do what is best for the kitten.

Do not bring your pet here!! They scam you out of money that you do not need to pay!! We drove 50 miles to bring our baby boy to after ingesting 2 ibuprofen. They wanted us to pay 100.00 bucks to call poison control plus their fees. When I asked why I needed to call poison control the vet on duty said because so I will know what to do!!! I asked her if she had ever had this kind of case before, she said yes. I then asked her If she had been to veterinary school , she again said yes. I then said this is a scam and I will not ... read more

After my dog was hit by a truck I took her here because she was severely injured. After waiting for over an hour in a room because the doctor was “ready” to talk to me about what was wrong with her I was notified that her right femur was severely broken, all of her paperwork stated it was her right femur and the reports they sent to her primary vet stated right femur…. Y’all it was her LEFT femur. I did not receive any discharge paperwork for her until a week later even after requesting it prior to to leaving then they also ... read more

Last year we came here with a dog that was having seizures. We were told after waiting three hours and wasted 300 that he would have more or we could pay $1500 to have an X-ray done. They never did vitals or a checkup with him. Tonight I called for euthanasia for two of our dogs who got into a fight and are currently bleeding out. Both dogs have never been aggressive with people, and this is an alpha aggression. They told us they were refusing to euthanize two injured and dy!ng dogs because they were scared. I explained they... read more

Business response:

I am sorry for the mis-understanding. Our staff will euthanize a pet if it is medically necessary. We do try to give all options to owners vs an end of life decision. Some times there are other options that owners have not explored, which would be training, relinquishing to a rescue or going to an only dog home.

My wife’s niece experienced the loss of her best friend and all this place cared about was money. Here is her experience. Mind you she handled this better than I would have. Our fur babies are our children. I would have seen red and made someone pay. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES TO THIS MONEY HUNGRY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS AND DO NOT TRUST THE RUDE AND IGNORANT STAFF! “Lost my bestfriend today. My Yorkie was mauled by 3 pitbulls, I rushed him here before arriving around 2:30pm, I called and they said they'd take him in. Whe... read more

Business response:

Matt, we are concerned by your statements and have observed multiple negative reviews regarding the same pet. It’s important to note that out of respect for patient health information, we will continue to communicate directly with the pet owner.
