I was VERY skeptical to send my non-elderly loved one to this facility to recover from being hit by a car. Upon first glance, its nothing special. Upon meeting the staff, its wonderful. The admin staff, dieticians, physical therapy, speech therapy, social workers, nurses and doctors are all great. My loved one has only been there a little over 3 weeks and is already walking by himself, eating solid foods, talking and gaining his strength back little by little. Its almost a miracle, as the doctors had given him a 2% chan... read more
Positive Notes: Many of the healthcare providers and professionals that work here were very kind and caring toward our loved one and our family. Case Manager Normalyn Tuazon and Jelene Lyles were very informative & attentive regarding our goals to help him heal properly and transition to his next care location. Most everyone there was gracious & professional, and several were bilingual which is a big plus. This skilled nursing facility also needs updating improvements and organizational support to advance their service excel... read more
I I would like to give a high five to the social services department. They help me with my appointments, and some other important things they're great thank you .
KUDOS to Haylie, Social Services,Gene,Dallas,Greg and Carmi. The Charge Nurse Dan is very caring and understanding as well. These folks rock. These are the people that make me come back and also recommend this SNF. I forgot my coat there and Jelene dropped it off at my house. The Dietary staff is good too but unfortunately because of so many diets and restrictions the food is meh. Now if you ever get a BENARD MICHLIN as your doctor DEMAND A DIFFERENT ONE. I've had to use this establishment TWICE and both times he was su... read more
We had the best skilled nursing facility(SNF) experience here for our beloved grandmother. After over a year of making calls to try to move her to a closer facility for our family visits, Claudia was finally able to make it happen for us. She and I had been in touch weekly for over a year and she never lost her patience with me or got annoyed when I called the way other places did. Instead she was apologetic when there wasn't an available bed. The admissions staff was very caring, detailed and informative from the beginning... read more
villa las palmas has been a lot of help with my father's care, most of the staff here have been really helpful, i'd like to thank the rehab team and Crystal and the other social workers who have been really helpful during my father's stay here
I personally liked this place. Yes there were moments and people who were not the best, but overall I liked it here. The therapist are great, really nice, patient and caring.i want to thank them. I also want to thank Cryztal in Social Services for getting me home as quick as possible. She got things delivered right away and everything else I needed set up before leaving. I really do miss a lot of people there and would recommend going here. Thank to all the staff here.
