Went for a mammogram because I found a lump. Also 6 mos post-op from breast reduction. Mammogram was not clear so had a sonogram. Radiologist started talking about early detection and treatment. Asked if lump could be surgery related, dr said "I guess it could be." Before I left, I had to schedule a biopsy. Scheduling handed me a box of Kleenex and asked if I needed a sedative for biopsy appointment. I was a mess thinking it was something bad. No problem with their services. But I would like to say something about the staffs overstepping their bounds and unprofessionalism. Yes after a mammogram the radiologist said she was positive from looking at my pictures I had the big C. So, the next day they get a biopsy approved. The radiologist who stabbed my breast said she was surprised if I didn't have cancer. A week later she called me as effervescently and chipper as a high school cheerleader to tell me yes I had cancer. I said oh I'm going to die and she sa... read more

I have gotten sonograms done at Washington Radiology Associates, but never an MRI. I called and was given an appointment a week later for 11:45 am. At the time that I made the appointment I was told that the actual MRI would be at 12:15, but I needed to be there at 11:45 for preparation. I arrived at the appointed time and was told that I would have to reschedule because I should have been there at 11:15 and that someone should have called me the day before to let me know this.
