RecommendedOn our last visit a young student was shadowing the vet. It’s wonderful the vets not only take great care of our pets but make an extra effort to encourage kids to follow in their footsteps. We’re very lucky to have this clinic in our area.

When you’ve believed that most Veterinary Offices are more money grabs than anything else, you are fortunate enough to become a patient at WVC. From the front desk, to the VA’s and Veterinarians, everyone is first and foremost compassionate. In all my years of having pets, I’ve never received care like this. Absolutely rare and amazing.

I cannot say enough about this clinic. Yesterday, we were seen there for the first time (unhappy with our now ex-vet). We had an almost 12 yo German Shepard, who we unfortunately had to make the toughest choice to let go of. It was by far the hardest day that I have ever experienced with my children. I recommend this place they were very nice and caring . It was a Sunday we called just about everywhere to see who can get us in for our cat to see her the same day and they didn’t turn us away with being they may have had lots of others and we aren’t a patient there we was a walk in . Even though our kitty didn’t make it they were so nice and professional about everything. I recommend them I would choose this vet if needed in the future. My husband and I wanted to thank Waterville veterinary clinic for taking such great care of our Luna today!! She’s been very lethargic and dehydrated these last couple of days and her regular vet couldn’t see her for 2 weeks. I called Waterville this morning, and despite having a busy day, they were able to take her in this afternoon. After testing and giving her medication, she is home purring up a storm, looking like she has a little bit more life back in her. I really cannot thank Dr. Dan Gilchrist enough for helping me last night. My dog was not acting him self and got worse by the minute. After calling many vets including the “emergency” ones that all turned him away knowing he had all the symptoms for bloat. He knew that I was desperate for help. He knew we were not a current patient there and told me to hurry up and get there and immediately operated on him. He saved my dogs life. I want to thank the entire staff for going above and beyond to help my boy Gunner. He ripped his back toenail out by the root on a Sunday and even though he was not a patient there, they took him in that night on an emergency visit. The bleeding was uncontrollable and of course I was a wreck. The veterinarian, Dan Gilchrist kept up communication with me the whole time and gave me guidance. They truly care. I cannot thank you enough. I highly recommend taking your animals here.
