I cannot say enough about this clinic and Dr. Cornelius and her vet tech. I recently transferred from another local practice in New Hartford where I wasn’t very happy with the care. Let me tell you, my experience was night and day. From the initial call to see if they were accepting new clients to today’s visit, I was truly blown away by professionalism and knowledgeable staff. I can’t begin to say how much I LOVE this place!! Our cat’s belly started to get swollen and we were frantic trying to find a place that was willing to see him ASAP. Nobody would. Our dog was boarded at the animal resort awhile back and we loved it, so decided to call here. After hearing the sound of our nervous voice, they got us right in the same day for testing. I am so thankful for W.V.C. My pet rat became very ill suddenly. It was a holiday weekend and the staff saw us immediately. I knew in my heart it was time to let my little girl go and they helped her pass peacefully and comfortably. She is at peace and pain-free. and for that I am thankful. Just a few days ago my dog vomited blood and then shortly after had black stool. I called every vet within a 1.5 hour Radius Fort Drum where we currently live. None would see us, not even the emergency vet. I was feeling totally defeated after being reverted back to the same vets that kept reverting me back to the same clinics. My dog needed help.
