Although my family and I have been going there for years, we’ve spent a lot of time there the last month. A month ago, our German Shepherd suddenly collapsed and ended up having to be put down. Dr. Gilchrist helped us through it, and even though Dr. gave our big boy horse strength sedation, he fought and fought it as he tried to protect us from the staff, as he always did. called the clinic on monday and they had my cat lilly in the next day and I was a new client , they all are very compassionate caring and understanding to my situation, kerri hudson was the vet who treated my lilly and she did a fantastic job with her, I will always be great full to waterville veterinary clinic and I highly recommend them, thank you everyone at waterville vet clinic!
They are caring and loving and a comforting place for all pets of all sizes.
This veterinary clinic is the best. Anywhere else would try and charge you for extra things but here, you come in with an issue, they check that issue out and bill you for that issue only. Not to mention when we had to take our dog to be euthanized after a long and fruitful life, we had such a hard time they cut our bill in half to help ease our pain about even doing it. 😭 It was a really hard time for us but they made it a bit easier. The staff and Dr Dan Gilchrist are amazing. We had an emergency with our elderly pitbull and they came in at 10pm to provide services for us. He was compassionate and understanding, explained everything to us and even called middle of the night when her surgery was complete to let us know she was ok. Shes old and we were so worried she wouldn't make it through surgery and he knew this. He kept in contact with us until it was time to pick her up and didnt care she was a pitbull.
