Please avoid coming here if you can, I had the worst experience here last week! I didn't know how bad this place was until I get to experience it myself.
Absolutely horrible. Do not go there for covid testing. They charge a random fee of $100 when you get there even though I have empire blue cross blue shield insurance and then I get a claim statement where I still owe over $200. I don't know how they are coding these services but these providers are rude and dishonest. I wouldn't trust them ever again.
They tried to charge me $225 for a COVID-19 Test even with insurance! Staff was very dismissive and not understanding. Would NOT recommend, try and find another place to get tested. WellNow is a SCAM!
No gloves used in the main wait area. Not one wiping down the pen used by EVERYONE or the counter. If you want COVID, you might get it here. Wait times for urgent care hours because more money in COVID testing. Go up to Wolf Rd and use Albany Meds Urgent Care instead.
Location: 1438 Western Ave, Albany, NY 12203 Unorganized and unsafe practices handling covid-19. I registered online so they can call me instead of waiting with a crowd of people. They mistook me for someone else and when I got there and had to redo the whole registration with my info on another patients file.
