The care was excellent. Management phone us with updates and let us speak to Mum when she was distressed. Very helpful all round.
My Mother in Law was very happy with her care. She was treated with kindness and dignity. The therapists were excellent and all the staff were good at communication with the family. All were accessible when we had questions.
Not knowing what to expect when "Aunty" was taken to Westgate House it was an extremely positive experience. From the welcome, she received it was all very uplifting from the reception, ward manager, nursing and all auxiliary staff everyone was excellent and incredibly caring.
The centre was lovely and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was always plenty of things going on. Was made very welcome. Some staff went out of their way to help, even down to finding out when my appointment was at the hospital and booking an appointment for me.
The food was of a very high standard and the nurses were very helpful and concerned. Some more than others, they know who they all are. Nothing is too much trouble.
Westgate House staff are amazing. Two staff members, in particular, were so supportive and professional and accessible to me and my father. We truly appreciate the doctors and nurses they have been extremely attentive and professional also.
I could not be in a better place for therapy.
I have been well looked after here but it is the wrong side of Hertfordshire for non-driving visitors. I shall be happy to get home to my own flat and hope I shall manage with equipment in place.
Staff are very attentive, kind and very helpful. The accommodation is clean, spacious and well laid out.
