The automated dump valve make it much lighter to handle than alternative models. My complaint with is unit is it comes with fittings that are suppose to make it work with traditional slip-fit hose. 3.0 out of 5 stars Shape causes hose tangles I really like the tab connections. They make it a lot easier to take it off to empty. The problem is the barrel shape sticking down into the water causes the hose to get wrapped around it. Our wandering vacuum ends up on its side a lot because of this, and I have to go rescue it.
