I gave this a 4-star for making this so difficult to figure out. Their website was no help. Here it is on a sand filter system: 1st: The vacuum suction will be reduced if your filters aren't clean. However, medium or large leaves get stuck in the vacuum vanes which have to rotate and slide through a narrow slot. I had to continually unclog it multiple times throughout the day, which defeats the convenience of an automatic pool cleaner. We ended up returning this pool cleaner and bought a more expensive poolvergnuegen instead.

Ive seen some that said "its great, but gets stuck in corners" and some that said "its fantastic, but the tubing isnt long enough" ... I have not seen one with the issue I am having. However, he recommended purchasing the warranty because he said the life of the hoses is about a year and that they are expensive to replace. If my professional pool guy is using the same model, then I am confident that I made a good buy!
4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good! So we replaced our old cleaner with this one and when it doesn’t tip over it’s amazing! The tires allow it to climb easily however a few times per week we will find it tipped over and have to put it back up. I’m not sure why as our old one didn’t do this.
