Works great! Seems to last pretty well! (6 year review) I've had this product for 6 years now and it's performed well for me. I did replace the tracks after 5 years as they were super worn out. The only problems I have with it is that little twigs or pieces of mulch will lodge in it and keep it from working which only happens after a good storm or the landscapers with weedwhackers sling a bunch of bark in the pool. Great little pool cleaner works beter than the High Dollar cleaners This unit funtions so much better than the last 3 units I have had. I wont go into name bashing, but I had no idea how this thing gets into every nook and cranny and its quick.
Not creepy but Crawley & crystal clear, you'll see! Cleans well Needed a new pool cleaner. Very happy with this one. Cleans the entire pool very well.
Good for 3 years Works great for about 3 years and then the hose steer breaking up. The hose are crappy
Speed setting difficult Works well but setting up the speed was difficult. Not easy with a variable speed pump. I had to set the side suction to almost nothing to get the right speed. It should be slightly slower yet but I can't turn the suction down any more without turning it just about off.It occasionally does wheelies half way across the pool. My pool is 16 X 32 and this unit covers every inch. Even the walls.
I couldn’t be happier. I had the MX8 for 8 years. It was very good. So when it finally ended its reign with only a few replacements parts I decided to go with the MX6 for my 10,000 gallon pool. I couldn’t be happier. It cleans the sides, picks up debris on the bottom including sediment. It’s a workhorse!
Hayward lost to Zodiac I have been a pool owner for 35 years. For 35 years, my pool has had a Hayward Navigator. The Navigator worked, but it did a poor job of cleaning the sides of the pool, and the pool hose would tangle occasionally, which was a pain. After another rebuild, I gave up brand loyalty and went with the Zodiac. I no longer have to brush the sides of my pool, and it hasn't tangled once. It was a good investment
