Nice qualit Replaced our old MX8, Works great, just way overpriced to my way of thinking!
Good product for the $ For the price this is a pretty solid purchase. I have a lot of trees and bushes around my pool and this works pretty well for the circumstances. I did have to replace the Engine housing with seals after two years because of all the debris in my pool. It wore down the plastic and stopped the flapper from moving. House is great but make sure you have the correct length in your pool.
Works great! Opened the box and had it in the pool working in about 10 minutes! Super easy. Works great!
Leaks air and needs a lot of suction When it’s working it works great. It says it’s supposed to use low suction but unless I have everything turned off on my pool and only the vacuum line going the vacuum won’t move at all. Also the hose that’s provided leaks air at every joint so I’m going to have to fix that and see if that helps at all. Hopefully I can get it to work properly because I really do like it when it’s doing it’s job
Great Little Cleaner! Have had my MX6 about 5 months now. It replaced a Hayward Navigator. The MX6 is a much, much easier unit to setup and get operational. Basically plug it in, and I used my old Hayward hoses which worked fine, and this little guys just runs perfectly. I was constantly fiddling with my Hayward from day one to prevent it from getting stuck, whereas the MX just goes without any issues. Great upgrade to standard pool vacuum Very pleased with this vacuum. We have had it for about 2 months. It is a total upgrade from the previous Haywood navigator vacuum that was provided to us by our pool builder. After several years the navigator was slow and not reaching areas of the pool. This new vacuum is amazing. It makes its way around the pool with ease. We have purchased three now! Amazing product - just keeps working and working, and pools looks so clean and inviting. We purchased this one on sale just to have a spare. The first one wore out after 2 years of daily use - runs when the pool pump is on. Bought another and still working after 2 years. Only downside is that the connection hoses barley last 2 years here in the Tucson AZ sun, but it comes with enough segments that we can replace the broken hoses because our pool is small enough where we not need to use all of the... read more
This is astonishing!!!! FIRST IMPRESSION: This is so much smaller and simpler than anything I have ever used (from multiple Hayward two and four-wheel robots to $1000 battery powered robots) that I was very suspicious. And the calibration step seemed to fiddly to be reliable. Unfortunately, my existing leaf capture is not compatible, so make sure to get the Zodiac one. The hoses broken within two years I used five different make pool vacuums in the last thirty some years. Their hoses were all last longer than the vacuum unit. This is my first Zodiac and the hoses just go bad in less than two years.
