Does not gobble up large leaves. Get bigger model or leaf catcher. Works great for me, after I figured out (by watching u-tube) how to set up in my side feed pool. I need another piece to stretch to the full length of my pool. It is quiet and does not jerk on my pump.
Constantly stuck on pool stairs I have not had a problem with the hose leaking, been using for about 3 years. It is not the best I have seen but does a good job cleaning my small inground pool. The only real issue I have had is that I have to constantly monitor the operation as it will not climb the stairs and gets stuck in the same corner constantly requiring me to go out and pull it off the stair corner where it continues to return to. I guess for the price, it's not bad, but I would check around.

Works great! Seems to last pretty well! (6 year review) I've had this product for 6 years now and it's performed well for me. I did replace the tracks after 5 years as they were super worn out. The only problems I have with it is that little twigs or pieces of mulch will lodge in it and keep it from working which only happens after a good storm or the landscapers with weedwhackers sling a bunch of bark in the pool. Do not recommend! This has been a problem from the start. Sometimes it runs, and sometimes it won't. It just sits in the bottom of the pool and won't run. We have adjusted skimmer and vac settings every conceivable way, and it is still inconsistent. Now it won't run at all. And the hose constantly floats and sucks air into the line, and through the pump, which can cause huge problems for the pump. And honestly, even when it is working, it doesn't work that well.
