Everyone at 21st mortgage are the most unprofessional nasty harassing people i have ever dealt with. My wife and I have not missed a single payment on our house, we've had to ask for a week extension a couple times. Payment isn't considered late until 16 days past the due date. They have called myself and my wife at work and harassed us even though the payment wasn't late. This last time the woman that called my wife, told her to go pawn some of our stuff being very rude and just downright nasty.

HORRIBLE!! I’m so sorry my original mortgage company sold my account to 21st mortgage. Very poor customer service, rude, no compassion for others at all. The way this economy and job market is they have no care in the world. If you’re late they don’t care all they do is belittle you and handle you as if you’re poor and threaten you. Would give this mortgage company negative one hundred stars if I could. They threaten and patronize you. Tonight one of their employees (I didn't catch his name) decided he was going to start screaming at me after I told him not to threaten me. He was screaming so loud that my husband had to grab the phone and intervene. The people who work there should not be involved in customer service. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS!

Demanding back mortgage payment even after keeping them updated to situation. Refusing to allow any payments toward getting caught up Rude individuals in the company says stuff like sell your stuff, get the money ey from you family, tap out all your resources. But when offered a way to start getting caught up, which we ain't 90 or 120 behind. Employee went ballistic

I am a customer if 21st Mortgage. I was 2 payments late and called to provide information that I was receiving funds to bring the account current. Instead I was belittle, laughed at, and yelled at. My wife hadn't worked for three months without pay. You don't know what people go through and instead of offering a helping hand this is how we were treated. I had my house repossessed on December 5, 2025, after I made a payment I thought I was good.but I wasn't. Got an emergency call at with the police and the movers in my yard. I didn't have time to get anything, they came and put my stuff in the yard. Whoever the movers were left my mess bricks,pipes everywhere. They didn't mix my fence and they spilt my utility pole. They started my mortgage with a 10% predatory lending rate, but I was trying to finish my divorce and had to move (I did have a choice), since then their supervisors are constantly rude and harassing in their aggressive collection communications; there are STILL legal description problems that they are too incompetent to address; and I was told at my closing that they would consider refinancing at a lower rate after a year; but all they know how to do is to aggressively be collectors, and do NOTHING constructive to negotiate... read more

Worst mortgage company to deal with. If you try to pay off your loan, it confuses them and it takes over a week to get the right pay off and this is a mortgage company. Very dissatisfied with the service from this company. If you can, avoid this mortgage company.

If I could give negative stars I would . Absolutely worst company to deal with . I always pay my bills but gotten a little behind the last couple of months due to unforeseen circumstances. Do not get in bed with these people . I have never been treated so badly from a company . No compassion or customer service whatsoever . Top it off they were rude to the wife .
