When I bought my new manufactured home about 4 years ago, I made sure to avoid any mobile home manufacturers who used 21st mortgage as I knew how horrible they are since my dad used them for his repo home(now taken away Bc he was a few payments late and they did not want to work with him) he has been on disability for years. I don’t want to waste any more words or spend any more time on these people than I have to, but these people get off on arguing. They have their employees on a little ego trip and they have treated my mother like a non-human. She fell behind on a few payments after my dad died And they treated her like the scum of the Earth. 21st Mortgage has shown a shocking lack of compassion and professionalism. During my 2021 divorce and custody battle, I fell behind on payments. I told them I applied for the Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Fund, which later reinstated my loan and paid six months — but they continued to pressure me and offered no temporary relief. I fell behind in my mortgage payment by one month. I call them after they called my daughter who is not on the loan and said I needed to call them. When I called there employee who I spoke with was rude and told me that they could not help. I then had to speak to a supervisor that was rude and also unhelpful. My mortgage is about 1400.00 a month so I paid 600.00 and said I would have the rest of the money on the 8th of the next month. 1 star. This is the most heartbreaking, unethical experience I’ve ever had with any mortgage company in my life. My family and I were forced off the land where our home sat — not because of foreclosure, but due to a landowner dispute that left us legally unable to access our home. Despite not having access to our home, we continue to make payments. If I could give 0 stars, I would! This company is the definition of unfriendly, unprofessional, and not putting their customers first. If you have to call for anything ( and I do mean anything ) you will have to repeat yourself to about 3 different departments, just to get someone who doesn’t know the answer and tells you to call back another day, just to repeat the process. This worst company I've ever dealt with! Customer service lacks professionalism! They will argue with you like thugs on the streets. I called to speak with my counselor about options getting caught up on my loan and the representative told me there are no options but to pay in full or lose the home! They really don't care how they treat individuals going through hard times. The managers are you to the point you just have to have to hang up on them.

I am a single mother to 6 children I am an only child and really have no family around so when my 66 year old mother came down with lung cancer I was scared.
