Today my sister and I went in around 4:30 and truly did not have a pleasant experience. The original waitress was very rude and impersonal. From the moment we walked in your doors today no one, besides Mary, even seemed to enjoy their job. I love my 54th Street and eat there all the time including old favorites that are no longer on the menu. But I need to tell you about my experience just today while sitting in the to-go line waiting on my food. A male employee (assumption because the girl working the to-go seemed to know him) came in the side door, I’m assuming to pick up a check, all the while smoking a cigarette to which the smoke wafted into the open windows of the to-go customers windows. I was confronted by a rude waitress claiming that i threaten her and said i wanted to kill her and she was calling the cops on me (i never said this btw) it was very weird i think she may have been on drugs smh this will be my first and last visit I’ve never felt so embarrassed and unwelcome.
Racists bunch of fools I’m never walking foot in that place again and once i finish filing my complaint I’ll be totally done with them altogether
I don’t know what you did to the Gringo Dip but it’s not good. For a signature item, I don’t think you made a good decision.
Order 18. Dollar steak wanted well done came out still pink inside.. They had no baked potatoes to go w it so i got cold fries w it and the steak wasn't hot either.. The waitress her name was bailey. She sucked never came to the table to check on to see how the food was..never refilled our water cups and she just left the salad bowl and the bread plates on the end of the table ... So i guess the fifty dollar gift card i got for christmas was waste of money..
