A feature that is great for many of us is the voicemail message coming directly to our e-mail. This keeps us from having to always remember to forward our phones, plus we can get the messages anytime we are away from the office with our laptops. It is easier to check as you sit there working from the convenience of your computer, since you don't have to take the extra step to log in with your password to hear your messages on the actual phone.
The archives that have extensive amounts of information is incredibly useful. The ability to go back years is great. Won't stop using this service.
There are plenty of things which we are enjoying about 8x8. First the service is phenomenal, the times that we have had to call even for the smallest things, it seems that the support team is willing to help and are very patient with the task. Also, we love how the system is very "plug and play" You don't have to be in the office to be able to use the phones. I was a partner in a law firm that had 10 phone lines and numerous extensions. Of course, we also needed the phone system to manage the voicemail and the phones. I have not had a good experience with 8x8. I have a home office, and have been on the phone for hours with customer support. All the people have been amazing - helpful, patient, delightful. However, my company is paying for service and equipment I can't use. It's been a disappointment. I gave up - my bad for not following through. This seemed like an opportunity to share.
