Before we switched to 8x8 we had our IP phone system with a local company. The phone service would go down several times each day, and the company kept blaming it on our internet provider. As we got more and more frustrated, we began to suspect that they just didn't have the level of redundancy built into their system required to handle the volume of traffic. First and foremost...the service WORKS! we have used 5 other hosted voip providers over the past 10 years and 8x8 has been our favorite, by far. We love the unified communications with virtual office and the ability to take the application mobile. we regularly use the conferencing and chat features.
