I use it at work. I like that I can enter phone numbers using my keypad, including using the paste function. The interface for the desktop client is pretty good. That said, the interface could be better--for example, I can't copy text from the interface, and it's a little unclear where the chat feature is unless you go to contacts first. And I have experienced dropped calls or unexpected freezes a little too frequently.
We appreciate the help you give us when needed. We like the consistency of the service. The simplicity of the system helps a lot.
We are a telecommunications company and our job is very fast paced on a day to day basis. As we are trying to keep our clients updated with the most current technology its crucial the we ourselves take advantage of the most current technologies. You can listen to your voice mail while working on your computer. It saves you time, you don't have to use your phone.

In the world of non profit it is very difficult to rely on being at your desk. Having the ability to take your desk with you, and not give out personal mobile numbers is awesome! The virtual voicemail is a great tool and makes life o much easier!

Saving phone cost
I am a small 1 person office...my 8x8 service is flexible and fits around MY needs!!! I LOVE that I am in control of how I receive my calls and how, when and where I can check my messages. Because I am a 1 person office, my 8x8 service can go with me wherever I go...I can either unplug my handset and plug in wherever I go OR I can have my calls forwarded to my mobile phone.
