The interface is easy, and user friendly. Clunky office apps can be burdensome. Also the support from 8x8 is exceptional.
Our favorite thing is the instant notification of and access to voicemails, no matter where we are -- via email, mobile app, or of course from the desktop phone. After that, I would say the ease of access to a whole host of special features that would have cost us an arm and a leg from traditional phone service in the old days. We have locations all over and the ability to transfer callers to another city or state is awesome!!!
Having two phones in the office, I get missed call alerts when the line was answered on the other phone, so sometimes I don't see the voicemail alerts. It's nice to get an email letting me know I have a voicemail. It is also convenient to be able to click play on my computer rather than dialing my passcode on the phone.
8x8 has allowed our staffing company complete control over client documentation and communication. Phone calls are appropriately routed to the correct party, and the ease of voice-over IP messaging system is superb. It keeps us easily connected even as we work from other sides of the country. Our support department relies heavily on it and it was very simple to use and reliable. A couple of our new employees (me included back when I started) weren't too savy with the VOIP phones and had trouble setting them up but when each of us called 8x8 support the representatives were nice, knowledgeable, and quickly got us set up so we could get back to helping our own customers.
