I love how easy 8X8 makes working from home. I have a little one that I need to tend to, and I can't miss out on important calls while being out of the office. Now I am able to take care of my daughter while taking calls forwarded to my cell phone throughout the day. 8X8 has definitely helped me being a working, single mom!
I tend to have a number of SFDC windows open at the same time which the app does not work with and gets confused.
As a small business we love the freedom and flexibility. We are able to work from any location in the world and forwarding calls seamlessly to our mobile phones is great. Recently while on vacation in Italy I was able to keep working, even doing conference calls through the app using wifi from our hotel in Rome. I also find it clear and much more stable than our previous system.
I love the functionality of the 8x8 instant message. My office is quite hectic and we are spread out across our floor, my boss and co-workers are able to IM me to come to their office, or just ask a simple question that would take longer to address via email. I also set up a lot of web exes and it is extremely simple to use and send out to clients. I already set up one this morning and it's just 11:00AM. Reliability and quality. VOIP service through 8x8 has lots of great features, but when it comes to our day to day business as a busy insurance office, it is reliability and voice quality that is most important. We need to know our phones are going to be working and that we can communicate clearly with our customers. 8x8 works.
