I love the flexibility of being about to make and receive calls regardless if I'm in the office or on my boat. It is very convenient for my customers to reach me "at the office" and my location is completely transparent to them! :)
It has to be the Virtual Contact Center. Our old phone system was based on ring groups, with ten reservation agents. Now with 8x8 VCC we have more efficient call queueing and routing which has allowed us to route VIP clients to the most senior agents and to offer several of our agents the opportunity to work from home, which is a win-win in our book!
What I love most about using 8x8 is that it gives me the ability to run a talented remote customer support team as if they are right here in the room with me. I can monitor their calls and give them the support and training they need to be successful and GROW our young company. Working remotely has it's limitations and liabilities but 8x8 has eliminated so many of those limitations! The cost savings of allowing people to work effectively from home means thousands of dollars per month for our company.
I love that I can run my psychotherapy private practice from anywhere. When we have client's we are in the office and I have a virtual mailbox for each of my staff to get confidential messages. When I am out of the office I have my line tethered to my cell phone so I can take calls and make appointments from home, or my beach vacation. The flexibility it allows us. To communicate between offices in different states. The chat feature is also very handy to communicate even when busy with other tasks
I like that I have a dedicated conference call line. Prior to 8x8 our department was utilizing a conference call in number and had to reserve it. We often had issues with multiple people needing it at the same time. Now we each have our own number so we can be more efficient with our time.
The phone is wherever you are. On laptop, in conference room, at home, at desk, or traveling.
When in a very busy office setting- knowing who is calling and being able to quickly click on their name to dial saves us time and we are able to keep our customers happy.
