I'm a speech therapist and work in a large classroom. Connecting with parents is challenging at best on a good day. The only phone is all the way across the room, and sometimes by the time I get to it, voicemail has kicked in. =-( 8x8 allows me to answer the phone wherever I am on campus. Additionally, many of our parents speak a different language. Being able to dial out anywhere on campus (without giving away my personal cell number) also allows for flexibility for calls with a translator in a quiet space. THANK YOU 8x8!!!
In my business we have multiple offices around the state and we can talk to any office like they are in the next room with a touch of a button. I also have my 8X8 app installed on my desk top and iPhone. I can listen to voicemails and receive calls when I have to step out of the office or I can see who is calling if I am in the middle of writing an email. This app is great ! 8x8 is a technology advanced communication system. I like it because it's virtual . I can use 8X8 for voicemail, calling from desktop, getting voicemail in email. Also the simplicity of desktop phone manual and cost effectiveness compared to competetitors is great value to a company.
