Quick and handy! I like the Computer Screen interface. What I like about this scanner is that it is Compact, small enough to carry around if needed, but not too small. The second thing I like is that the Scanning information is available ONSCREEN. This helps to make more selections for the performance of the scanned images and on storing your images to files. Another good thing is that the PLASTIC CARD scanning does work. I slipped in credit cards and viola.... easy as pie This is great to have so you have all documentations... read more

Wonderful Desktop Scanner. Quick and easy to use. I have had this scanner for a month now and am really starting to get some good use of out it. Pros: Compact and folds up. Great Software (for Mac). Easy to use. Great clear scans. Multi sheet works very well. Touch screen is responsive and effective. Very quick clear scanning. Very easy to use. Cons: Does not come with Evernote Software for Scanning (not sure if you can get it separately) but it is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the Evernote Scanner. Bottom Line: Just a great pi... read more

OK, but... The Brother ADS1500W is a decent option for scanning, but it has its flaws. Setup took a while, although it was nice being able to set it up on my PC rather than using the LCD screen on the unit. Document scanning has thus far gone off without a hitch, as has the plastic card scanning (which is done through a convenient slot on the unit). What I really don't like about this scanner is the fact that in order to upload scans online, you're required to give Brother full access to your cloud account. This really shoul... read more

Good Product for the Home or Office for a Desktop Scanner This is a good, dependable document scanner. I think it is quick and easy to use. I especially appreciate the 2-sided scanning. Patience is required in set-up due to poor documentation. I would recommend that if you need more guidance going to the product support page on Brother's website which I found more helpful than the Start-up or User's Guide. The quality of scans is adequate for documents where photo quality of images is not required. The portability and wi-fi ... read more

No problems. I've only had it a month, so I may have more to say in the future, but, so far, this has been a great scanner. It has a low profile, which means it can fit just about anywhere. It is web enabled and wirelessly connects to the computers, so it can be setup out of sight. I really like the duplex feature, it makes scanning much quicker and I don't have to spend time figuring out which way to turn things. Overall, I'm happy with it. Hopefully it will continue to work well.

Great for small business When I say small business, I mean me. After battling document management - particularly receipts - for too long, I have been tempted by the mass marketing efforts of NeatDesk to buy their flagship product:NeatDesk Desktop Scanner and Digital Filing System - PC. However, I have put off the purchase due to a price point that I have had a hard time justifying. The Brother ADS-1500W occupies the price gap for folks in a similar mental struggle. My primary objective being the efficient and effective manag... read more

No software setup, Great NAS connectivity, Best for me Ever since I used the Fujitsu ScanSnap at my previous work, I have always dreamed to have a single-pass-two-sided-scan document scanner at my home. I wanted to digitize most of the letters, documents, and bills delivered to my home so that I do not need to spend a significant amount of time to search for it when needed. And here comes the Brother ADS1500W Compact Color Desktop Scanner with Duplex and Web Connectivity. While I was waiting for the product to be arrived, I ... read more

Good Portable Standalone Scanner with Some Flaws A standalone scanner, that you can use without a computer, like this has been needed for a long time. When I'm going through my mail, I do not always have the computer and I like to scan and shred at the same time. This is the first decent scanner that lets me do that. And that is the best quality of this Brother scanner. You can do the initial setup and change settings from the color screen on the scanner but I found it a lot easier to change the settings on the web-based con... read more

Nice product but brings up some online privacy concerns. We've recently decided to keep an in-depth budget tracking all home expenditures and decided we needed a new scanner. I've always used one for work, pushing through documentation, but the one I had was kind of slow and more than a little annoying. To be honest, I was kind of afraid of dealing with a new scanner at home too, because older ones were slow. This one more than makes up for that, scanning multiple items pretty quickly, and has a fairly easy set-up for straig... read more
