Good compact scanner, but blank page detection slows it down This small scanner from Brother is adequate for the task, scanning both sides of a document in a single pass relatively quickly. It's not as fast as other desktop scanning devices on the market, but it is faster than many inexpensive multifunction printer/scanner/faxes. 1.0 out of 5 stars Do NOT buy the last one! This scanner has been "discontinued" by the company so they aren't updating to work with newer operating systems. I just updated my Macbook and my scanner is now useless. I got 3 or 4 years out of this thing before it became a paperweight. I am really disappointed in Brother and they've lost my future business.

This scanner is a nightmare! For a consumer who paid a lot of money who simply wants to get her money's worth, this scanner horribly sucks! When I called technical support he said try to plug it on the other side of the computer coz that side is not working. Now, it's not working on that side either!. Since it's a wireless scanner, I tried to install it wirelessly still it's not working! Don't get tempted to buy this!! This is not the expensive scanner you think you can rely on!!!!!
Can't Scan Any Pages Straight Every page scanned is crooked. Nothing gets scanned in right.
