My problem was misdiagnosed many times, I paid for a $1000 repair and three days later needed a whole new furnace. Next time it rained hard I had a leak in my roof. I was given a $500 refund. The staff are polite. But I wish I did not work with this company. I'm still paying a price. When my mom needed a new furnace in Trilogy a month later I told her who not to call.

**EDIT**: Upon learning of my poor experience, the service manager got back to me and admitted to the service being substandard and promptly refunded my service fee. I have bumped up the review by a star for the professionalism and responsiveness of the service manager. I had them come out to troubleshoot a gas fireplace that was not turning on. The tech from Alexander's heating arrived on time, but it quickly became apparent to me that he didn't seem to have much expertise on gas fireplaces, or experience fixing them. He d... read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Alexander's heating installed a Fujitsu mini split system for me in 2015. In May of 2022, the system had an epic failure. I've now had 6 different HVAC experts, technicians and sales people out from 4 different industry companies to give bids on repair versus replacement. Each and every one has started by saying what a "horrible installation job" "total neglect" "not the standard for safety or material even in 2015." If I could give 0 stars I would absolutely the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I had them Install a tankless hot water heater that was set to run off of propane when they installed it they left the natural gas fitting in instead of the propane one. My entire system burned up. They sent a technician out and he confirmed that they installed it wrong when it was new. They are 100% Responsible for the failure of my system. Very unprofessional experience with this business. Cheaper by comparison, but not worth the hassle. Would recommend a more established firm. Don't expect to hear back from the owner if you have a problem... we did not. We are still waiting to hear back from Alex.

This is the first time I had to file a Better Business Bureau Complaint to a business, good job Alexander's Heating! Their staff are far from professional, the business owner and technicians refuse to talk to you and ignore all your calls and emails. They hide behind doors and refuse to even make any efforts trying to provide a satisfying solution to the trouble they caused! I had Alexander Heating come out to assess my fireplace insert and they charged me $170 to tell me what I already knew -- my pilot light was broken. At that time I asked them to order the parts and come back for repair. Technician was very nice at the time -- so I thought -- no problem let's get this fixed. That was all he wrote -- he left and never came back or called to follow up! Have left two messages in the past three weeks. I never heard anything. I understand it's a crazy time here, but it would have been nice to have been given the courtesy of a call. Taking my business elsewhere.

i had a heat pump installed 3 years ago by Alex that has never worked properly. After 2 trips out they gave up and said call someone else. The salesman said sorry but we have no real service department. Once again he said call someone else to fix what they messed up. Bob's Heating is the place to go. They are very PROFESIONAL people. I WILL NEVER USE ALEXANDERS AND WOULD STEER EVERYONE AWAY FROM THEM IF ASKED.
