Started the day getting a phone call 8 mins before crew was expected to arrive to a call from Chase - out of the ft worth location - stating they needed to reschedule. I asked for them to give me a thorough reschedule time and his response was between 2-3. So my husband and I both went to work! To be interrupted at 1130 stating movers were at the property. Worst move experience ever. They will force you into higher rates than what's quoted, they broke expensive items, which you only get reimbursed $0.60/pound btw of the item, movers were tired and slow. Paid an absurd amount for what should have been a simple move. Complained and the GM couldn't have cared less. Use anyone, but this company. They could care less about your experience and have zero intention of making things right.
We felt the service was very slow and lackadaisical, movers were lacking organization and knowledge of how to handle items/spaces correctly. Took a very long lunch and the drive took almost double the time it should have and then they rushed the drop off in order to get home. The staff was unprofessional (foul language, complaining about being hungry/how long the drive would be, leaving trash on our curb, did not help unload to our expectations (like dropping our patio furniture out on the lawn instead of setting it up on th... read more
It was absolutely horrible. First I spoke with a nice guy name Colt, he said it was a two hour minimum, with a three man crew (which was available from what he said) and this was at a rate of 209 per hour. There was no mention of costs outside of the minimum and the deposit (100 this was paid with Colt). He said he would have another individual (from logistics) call me. It was the worst experience ever! I’m not even sure why they are in the moving business at all! No one wants to work and I had my reservation for three weeks and they changed to cost the day before I was moving. I still am not moved
Do NOT use this company. They will give you an hourly rate, but not tell you there’s a three hour minimum PLUS 1.5 hour trip charge, PLUS 14% fuel charge. They will take $100 deposit THEN send you the quote with the info. Then when dispatch calls you the day of your move they try to raise the price again and will happily cancel and keep your $100 deposit.
Buyer Beware - request a contract ahead of the move so you have time to review all the additional charges they do not disclose ahead of time. I was not presented with a contract or paperwork to review until AFTER the truck was already loaded - I wanted to dispute several line items that were a surprise but at that point, they were already halfway through the job. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. I scheduled a move a month in advance and put down a deposit and the day off they cancelled!! They said their "men did not show up to work" and had no back ups and couldn't get anyone else to help me that day which I SCHEDULED AND PAID FOR! The man on the phone was rude to me and my mom and had no sympathy that my lease ended that day and I needed to be OUT Of my apt! Crappy service. Absolutely unbelievable.
Whatever you do do not hire All My Sons movers. You will be quoted a very small amount vs what you are required to pay. Their sites say they are based in Carrollton but you are paying for travel time from Fort Worth. They will claim you did not tell them you are moving to a 3rd floor despite you mentioning it every single time you called. Your trained and bonded movers will be mostly made up of 1st time movers.
