THEY ARE RHE WORST!!! I paid extra money for a smooth experience from a reputable company. My one bedroom with a study took FOUR hours just to get everything out of my apartment. Then there was a 1.5 hour window where I had no idea where they were with my stuff. As they unload, I’m seeing nicks and damage all over my stuff. We were quoted 6 hours for 4 men and a truck. They charged us for 11 hours with 3 being overtime and at least 30 minutes for lunch. Upon arrival their paperwork was wrong. They wanted to charge me $50 more per hour for 5 men but we only had 4 men there. (Of course I was charged for the time we stood there arguing). I had everything disassembled before they arrive. Gave us the price of the move and packing. Promised that would be the absolute highest price and what separates them from other carriers. After the quote on items we moved one bedroom to our new home ourselves. We also packed several boxes to save time. The crew was friendly. But they showed up 10 hours late. Then they didn’t have the right supplies for the job. So we were super tight on time the next day to get the rest of the packing done and the house cleaned and we had to be out that day. We used All My Sons for our recent move. Everything seemed to go well at the old house while loading but quickly took a turn for the worse at the new house. They called me out to the truck to show me where a bar stool had shifted and punched a 3 inch hole in the back of our couch. They also decided to unwrap everything at the truck before bringing it in the new house and we now have several scratches and gouges in the new wood floors that will require replacing 10 planks. My experience wasn't the best, and to be honest I feel slightly scammed. I was moving to a 1 bedroom from my 2 bedroom in the same complex, just a different building. They quoted me 159/hr and with an estimate of 2 hrs the rate would be around $553. I figured since I don't have a lot of stuff and I'm in the same complex without needing to travel that it could be done fairly quickly. I called them a week before my move,and I was given an estimate as well as assurance that they could move us on that date. Two days before the move, another representative called with a higher estimate. At 7 p.m. the night before the move, the manager called to say they could not move us the next day. Needless to say, this caused great distress for us as elderly people. Our children had to scramble to get a truck and workers. I would never do business with this company.
We were quoted $500. We moved within same complex. The movers laughed at our quote and said expect twice or triple for final total. We were at new apartment ready to unload. Final total $1900!! We were able to drop down to $1300. This is less than 1 mile move. I will say the employees themselves were as kind as can be did what they could do to offset cost. These people are scammers. There are several Facebook groups dedicated to their shady business practices. I wish my son researched them before he paid $553 for a 1 hour move. They have all these redundant charges to rip people off, then they are rude when you call to ask about the charges. Beware and go with any of the other reputable and ethical movers out there!
