Terrible service. I wish I could give 0 stars. They broke multiple things due to not packing them carefully. The movers were not professional at all and the company refused to pay an adequate amount for a replacement and/or repair of our furniture. One of the movers was very rude and he was yelling and complaining about everything all the time, he was literally throwing our boxes from the truck and broke our sleeper sofa besides damaging our furniture and TV. Stay away from this company.
When I scheduled our move, I communicated that we had two deliveries—some stuff was going to an apartment and the rest to storage. The team arrived and was respectful, but the truck was full and we realized we would need to take more than one trip. I could tell the driver wanted to talk us out of it, because he didn’t want to have to stay on the job longer, but we agreed we would decide once we got the first load unloaded at the storage unit. They broke some stuff. Got cross with each other and were cursing
The company was underhanded in their fees and directly lied to me about what would be charged.
DO NOT USE! We had scheduled our move over a month in advance, called to confirm a few days before our move, and they cancelled the DAY OF!!! Why did they cancel? Because they’re employees had heat exhaustion. Well guess what, we live in Texas, get a new job if you can’t handle the heat. Not only did they cancel, but they let us know only an hour and 20 minutes before they were supposed to show up. The manager was also very rude and very unapologetic about the situation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
We called a couple weeks ago to get a quote to move a 1100 sq ft. 3 bedroom house. We explained that we had some heavy items (large snap on tool box, old stand up piano, and two full sized fridges) amongst the regular household furniture. They quoted us $1,000-$1,500 for the move. So we booked them. Today is moving day. They gave us the time frame of 7am-9am and arrived at 10am. Once they arrived they pulled every box we had packed up onto our driveway. Beware of this company! They charged me 714 dollars to move me from a downstairs one bedroom apartment to a downstairs apartment in the same complex. They took my 100.00 dollar deposit and kept it. It was not applied to the total, it was just extra money for them that they couldn't explain what it was for. They sent a small girl and an injured guy along with one able bodied guy to move me and it took over 3 hours just to load my apartment. My mom moved from a one bedroom house 7.4 miles away from her new home on Saturday 2/19. She had a storage stop as well. It was on the way. She had boxed up almost everything she could. There were boxes from her first move over the summer (4 1/2 hours away) in her garage professionally boxed and wrapped. Not a lot of stuff in the traditional 2 car garage.
