Two hours late, a bad mood to start, charged to much, over all a bad experience.
After accepting my order and taking my deposit over a week ago, this joker by the name of ? Mike calls me 2 DAYS BEFORE THE MOVE to tell me the wretched company does not work out of a retirement place!!! Do not recommend this company to anyone else!!!
The reception was good, however after an agreed price was established things changed. I gave a deposit and to this day I don't know how it was applied. The actual movers did a great job moving my things from storage and assured me at the half way mark when I signed a billing for $750 that my total would not exceed $1300. After the final load was off loaded i had to pay an additional $750.00 because there were 2 trips made even though the distance traveled was less than 10 miles...you do the math. Originally quoted $258 to move a refrigerator & a washer 15 miles. Next day was quoted $440 & reduced to $387. Day of delivery one of the drivers then told me it would be $489. Was corrected back to $387. Movers did do a great job.
I would never use them again, they will take your money. They said not to worry about anything and then changed my move date last minute. They led me to believe it would cost a certain amount and it wound up costing a lot more. Very deceptive.
They did a lot of damage to our stuff and offered little in compensation.
Against my better judgment, I let my ex hire them again. Even though these are trying times, I waited 3 hours after schedule pickup. I was assured all labour could be done. Nope. Beds were not set up. Excuse was they did not disassemble them. Crew did least they could. I will not EVER USE THEM AGAIN.
This was the worst experience moving, first I was only moving 5 miles from a 1 bedroom apartment to our new home my wife and I just purchased. So very little stuff to move.. They told me 109$ per hour. And gave me 150$ credit towards the bill, 100$ deposit I paid 2 weeks earlier. And 50$ for using home advisor. They are a RIP off, to expensive, and their works milk the clock.
