DO NOT use All My Sons Moving and Storage. I moved from Fort Worth to Arlington. A total distance of 25 miles. I make this drive twice a day, 5 days a week. I know exactly how long it takes with and without traffic. Today we were lucky and experienced absolutely no traffic. The drive time, with stops, was 40 minutes. 32-ft moving trucks get an average gas mileage of 10 miles to the gallon. With current gas prices, $2.59, the trip cost them $6.47. I was very impressed with the estimator who came out and estimated how much the move would cost. Not because he gave me a price I wanted to hear but was truthful and personable. I'm still not sure how much it cost me because I was charged three separate times. I'm sure it was for the different segments of the move, the deposit, the load and then the driving to the destination and the unloading. I would rather pay one time and have it over with. I would give less than one star if possible. I set this move up a month in advance and paid a deposit. I agreed to a price per hour, a fuel surcharge and "travel" fee. (just charge a base price, guys, and build your cost in. People don't like to be nickled and dimed to death). They were set to arrive at 9am. We were moving about 300 yards. Half of our stuff was already packed on a truck, as half of our stuff was in another town. At just after 9 I received a call from them that one of the movers didn't show up for wor... read more

In 2008 my husband moved from IL to TX with all our furniture and it costed $1200. That is what I'm told your service will charge to move us across town. None of this was told to us, of course, until the movers came to our house on moving day. This is highway robbery,, and all my Twitter and Facebook followers will hear about it. As will anyone who ever asks me to recommend a moving company. You have a chance to make it right before they are done. Will you?
Worst experience using All My Sons! I could type till you'd get tired of reading. Just consider yourself warned if you decide to use their services! It's more at the office level than the movers themselves who have to take the brundt of every customers frustration.
Use anyone but this company. Horrible, horrible company! They quoted $300 less than they charged and didn't even take everything we asked them to take. They damaged my expensive front door at my old house and dented and scratched the ceiling at my new place and the walls. They took numerous smoking breaks and left their cigarette buds all over our yard. They talk like sailors and don't care about your things. The movers were extremely rude, dishonest, and careless. Horrible company. Definitely bait and switch on price! I was quoted completely different than what I was charged. By the time they gave me a total they were holding my stuff hostage. They dropped my very expensive refrigerator and dented it. Took numerous breaks and would just stand around. Used extra packing supplies that I had to pay for, terrible service. I scheduled to start between 9-10am, they showed up at 8 am. Terrible packing stuff was turned upside down and strewn around. Will never recommend them to anyone. Shoddy... read more
